She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert W. Wagner and Caroline O. Wagner (Schmitt); her children, Kevin J. and Kimberly S.; and her siblings, Mary Wagner Stuart and Christopher Wagner.
She is survived by: her husband Lawrence E. Sermersheim; her children, Keith A. (Connie) of Evansville and Katherine L.; her grandchildren, Kyle A. (Kira) of Omaha, NE, Luke A. (Jill) of Folsomville, Benjamin A. (Isabel) of Chicago, Maria C. of South Bend, Jacob A. of Evansville and Christopher A. of Evansville; her great grandchildren, Reagan, Mason of Folsomville, Berklee and Ryder of Omaha; and her siblings, Bill Wagner (Mary) of Escondido, John Wagner (Linda) of San Diego, Dave Wagner (Mona) of Huntingburg, Susan Polen (Dale) of Huntingburg, Alice Giesler (Mike) of Velpen, Ralph Wagner (Polly) of Ferdinand, Dan Wagner (Pam) of Ireland and Kenneth Wagner (Grace) of Dale. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and dear friends; and her puppy dog.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Nass & Son Funeral Home (208 Main St, Huntingburg, IN 47542). A prayer was held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at the St. Mary's Cemetery.
The family requests memorial donations to be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church in Huntingburg or the Dubois County Humane Society.
