He was predeceased by: his parents, William P. Owen and Frieda M. Owen (Cannon); his brother Ron Owen; and his brother-in-law Terry Chandler. He is survived by: his wife Diana Owen of Huntingburg; his children, Scarlett Duke (Michael) of Paoli and Theron Robert Owen (Kimberly) of Paoli; his stepdaughters, Melissa Rives of Carthage, MS and Tammy Conkle of Huntingburg; his grandchildren, Josh Duke, Autumn Baker (Taylor), Dustin Conkle and Tyler Simmons (Courtney); his great grandchildren, Austin Duke, Berkley Duke, Cameron Duke, Robert Duke, Baylin Baker, Chase Baker, Delaney Baker, Deslyn, Luella, Colby, Preston and Carson; his sisters, Judy Chandler of Riley and Ellen Chapman of Birdseye; his sister-in-law Bev Owen of Mitchell; and his close friend Jim Lawrence of Huntingburg. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McAdams Mortuary (500 SW 1st St, Paoli, IN 47454). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
