With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Allen Hinds of Huntington, Indiana, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 2, 2026 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Allen Hinds to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kirby Paul and Mary E. Hinds (Pinkerton); his wife Sue C. Williams; his sons, Gregory Wayne Hinds, Steven Charles Hinds and Stephen Hinds; and his siblings, Dwight Hinds, John Hinds and Ella Marie Hendrickson.
He is survived by: his daughter Kimella Fisher (Randy) of Roanoke, IN; and his grandchildren, Brandi Fisher, Jana Gwynn (Brad), Suzanne Decker (Nate), Craig Hinds (Richelle), Shona Pinkerton (Adam), Cameron Hinds (Jordian), Melissa Katschke (Brian) and Stephanie Lucas (Chris). He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Stillwater Hospice or American Humane Society in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN.
