She was predeceased by : her parents, George Monroe, and Florence Monroe, Sr. (Hall); and her siblings, Mary Campbell, Elsie Atkins, Harry Monroe, Walt Monroe, Alice Raiser, Thornton Earl Monroe, James Monroe, Ethel Swartout, John F. Monroe, William Monroe (Bill) and Emilie Grayson.

She is survived by : her sister-in-law Joann Monroe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to Riley Childrens Hospital, 705 Riley Hospital Dr. Indianapolis, IN 46202.
