Carolyn Marie Everhart Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Marie Everhart of Huntington, Indiana, who passed away on December 6, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Krider and June Krider (Baker); and her husband Don. She is survived by: her children, Carlene Peters (Jay) of Huntington, Cathalene Smith (Scott) of Fort Wayne, Chris Stephan (Brett) of Huntington and Chad Stephan (Erica) of Warren; her stepchildren, Rhonda Etherington (Jim) and Brett Everhart (Ann Marie); her sister Margie Stinson (Dave) of Huntington; her grandchildren, Kelsey McCafferty (Chris), Tannan Peters (Arielle), Quinton Smith, Hannah Peters, Lauren Spahr (Walker), Kaitlyn Heaston (Garrett), Ethan Stephan and Dalton Stephan; her stepgrandchildren, Tyler Etherington (Megan) and Carly Ryan (Bobby); her great grandchildren, Lena, Marcus, Maci, Madison, Hadley, Julia, Meagan, Luey, Parker and Reese; and her grandchild Hanah Peters.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Church of the Nazarene (1555 Flaxmill Rd, Huntington, IN 46750). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at the Star of Hope Cemetery (340 S 200 E, Huntington, IN 46750).
