He was predeceased by : his father Jack Black; and his brother Douglas Black. He is survived by : his daughter Cecelia Troyer (Eric); his grandchildren, Jasper and Jude; and his siblings, Jacqueline Maki (Erland) of Fort Wayne and Tim Black (Cynthia) of Roanoke, IN. He is also survived by several nieces and a nephew.
