He was predeceased by: his father Cody Scott; his daughter Crystal; and his brother Randy. He is survived by: his mother Lillian Scott (Kesterson); his children, David Jay and Amber Felver; and his siblings, Sam Scott, Steve Scott (Susie) and Melissa Knott (Dwayne). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.
