He was predeceased by : his wife Mary; his son Mark; his parents, Howard Hasty and Zona Hasty; his siblings, Phillip and Martha; his daughter-in-law Anne; his sisters-in-law, Joan and Shirley Hasty; his parents-in-law, Henry and Irene Pequinot Hinen; and his siblings-in-law, John, Ralph, Harry, Robert, Roy, Clarence, Arthur, Frank Hinen, Esther, Nancy and Phyllis Pippin.

He is survived by : his children, Michael, Andrew (Robin), Carl (Mark Glassley), June Pulver (Benjamin) and Jeanne Hasty; his sister Mary Ann Howard (David); his sisters-in-law, Patricia Hasty, Patricia Kehmeyer (Robert), Gaylen, Joyce, Donna and Linda Hinen; his cousins, Deborah, Eric, Nancy, Jean and Dallas; and his grandchildren, Erin Dearduff (Tony), Josh Hasty (Tricia), Nathan Hasty, Elizabeth Pulver (Sajay Sadasivan), Brian Hasty, Taylor Hasty (Rachael), Nathan Glassley (Kaitlyn) and Philip Glassley (Stephanie). He is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.

Preferred memorials are to Huntington County 4-H and St. Joseph Catholic Church for masses in care of Myers Funeral Home, 2901 Guilford Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
