With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David L. Tyler of Huntington, Indiana, born in Kendallville, Indiana, who passed away on January 1, 2023 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, James Tyler (Toby) and Margaret Berhalter Tyler; and his sister Mary Penn. He is survived by: his wife Peggy Sue Barker; his children, Todd Tyler (Sharon) of Long Beach, CA and Tammy Chambers (Jeff) of Milan, OH; his grandsons, David Tyler, Nathan Chambers (Katie) and Nick Chambers (Morgan); his great grandchild Mahle Chambers; his sister Alice Holopeter (Jack); his brother-in-law Jim Penn of Kalamazoo, MI.; his daughters, Tina Rhodes (Chris) of Auburn, Delena Twibell (John) of Hartford City and Chris Barker (Kenny Leavitt) of Huntington; his grandchildren, Cassie Frank (Clint), Chelsie Bundrick (Tyler), Payton Yarian (Sam), Briana Baker (Todd), Chase Twibell (Amanda) and Easton Rhodes; and his great grandchildren, Kinleigh, Kalinn, Palmer, Brody, Scout and Wrenlee.
