She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Kirkwood and Bertha Kirkwood; and her great grandchild Ella Kay Kelsheimer. She is survived by: her son Michael; her daughter-in-law Natalie; her grandchildren, Jedediah and Carolina Kelsheimer (Kyle); her great grandchildren, Wrigley and Ivy Kelsheimer; and her siblings, Jerome Buzz Kirkwood (Robin) and Melinda Eckert (Steve). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Instead of flowers, the family requests that gifts be given to the Deborah Kay (Kirkwood) Phillips Fund to send kids to camps from Wabash Friends Church and Josiah White's Foster Care. Gifts may be made out to Wabash Friends Church or the Community Foundation of Wabash County, earmarked to the fund.
