He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Schoeff and Verna Schoeff (Young); his brother Marshall Schoeff; his sister-in-law Rosemary Schoeff; and his close friend Carolyn Van Dine.

He is survived by: his brother Nelson Schoeff of Huntington; and his sister-in-law Marty Schoeff of Florida. He is also survived by four nieces and two nephews.
