He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bowman and Katherine Lowman; his stepmother Mary Bowman Bragg (Starbuck); and his siblings, Thomas Bowman and Marsha Sands.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen; his children, Jennifer Bowman of Roanoke, IN and David Bowman (Heather) of Huntington, IN; his brother Frank Bowman (Deb) of Huntington, IN; his grandchildren, Makayla Bowman, Nathan Bowman and Addison Bowman; and his goddaughter Heidi Strobel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Parkview Hospice or Evangelical United Methodist Church in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN.
