He was predeceased by: his father Richard Carnes; and his son Andrew Michael Carnes. He is survived by: his wife Janice Stone; his daughter Colleen Carnes (Britany) of West Lafayette, IN; and his siblings, Thomas Carnes (Carol) of Huntington, IN, Samuel Carnes (Lori), Mary Ann Swinehart (Jerry) of Avon, IN and Becky Smith (Tom) of Plainfield, IN.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
