He was predeceased by : his parents, Leander Johnson, Sr. and Polly R. Johnson (Burke); his daughter Betty Jane Johnson; his granddaughters, Aryanna Asher and Jestina Kelly; his sister Alka Watts; and his former life partner Dorothy Septer.
He is survived by : his children, Nikkia Johnson (Lucinda) of Huntington, IN, Kevin Johnson (Christie) of Citra, FL, Stephanie Johnson of Huntington, IN, Rebeca Lusch (Cory) of Huntington, IN and Tiffany Johnson of Huntington, IN; and his close friend Debby Warner of Huntington, IN.. He is also survived by grandchildren; fourteen, great grandchildren; one, brother; six, sisters.
