She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Barger and Rae Barger (Eckley); her husband Robert B. Meagher; and her siblings, Joanne Aughenbaugh, Edward Barger and Herman Barger, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Doug Meagher (Patty) of Wabash, IN and Debra Rae Garay (Dan) of Fort Wayne, IN; her grandchildren, Marilyn Knerr (Courtney), Megan Allen (Chris), Ashley Wilcox (Josh) and Carmen Garay; her great grandchildren, Tyler Knerr (Micaela), Payton Knerr, Madi Wilcox and Nora Wilcox; and her great great grandchild Gia Knerr.
Visitation was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the McElhaney Funeral Home (715 N Jefferson St, Huntington, IN 46750). A memorial service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 3:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery (4945 N Goshen Rd, Huntington, IN 46750).
In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to American Heart Association in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
