He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Bowers and Mary Bowers (Kline); and his wife Peggy Sue Corkhill. He is survived by: his daughters, Amie LaRue (Chris) of Larwill, IN and Melanie Jenks (Brian) of Huntington, IN; his siblings, Kent Bowers (Nancy) of Syracuse, IN, Alan Bowers of Huntington, IN, Kathy Wilkinson of Huntington, IN and Shelley Paschal (Rick) of Huntington, IN; and his grandchildren, Scott Strater, Jr., Nicole Anderson, Nakesha LaRue, Latiesha LaRue, Tawsha LaRue and Melissa Jenks. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.
