He was predeceased by: his parents, George W. Scher, and Julia Leota Scher, Sr. (Bauch); and his brother George W. Scher, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Dianne E. Jeffrey; his daughter Erika Thompson (Daniel Eckert) of Huntington, IN; his granddaughters, Alicia, Breann and Jordyn; and his sisters-in-law, Judy Scher and Sharon Mason. He is also survived by three brothers, Brother.
