He is survived by: his children, Deborah Morris of Huntington, IN, Michael Akers of Huntington, IN and Tim Akers of Huntington, IN; his grandchildren, Jordan Akers, Logan Akers, Tiffany Akers, Brandi Newsome, Noah Morris and Abby Morris; and his great grandchildren, Cayden Akers, Aria Newsome, Bristollynn Walker and Kessiah Walker.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Donor's Choice in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN.
