We are sad to announce that, on August 11, 2025, at the age of 44, Shane Hunt of Huntington, Indiana passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shane Hunt to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Hunt of South Whitley, IN and Gale Hunt (Troutman); and his siblings, Theresa Taylor, Dawn Hunter and Duane C. Hunt.
He is survived by: his daughters, Chloe Hunt of Roanoke, IN, Lexi Hunt of Huntington, IN and Gemma Hunt of Huntington, IN; and his siblings, James Hunt (Martha) of Huntington, IN and Alysia Thornsberry (Jeremy) of Andrews, IN. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to his daughters, in care of Chloe Hunt, to help with their future plans in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington IN 46750.
