He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Calvin Stuart and Evelyn Stuart (Jeffers); his wife Kathryn "Kate" Stuart (Scheiber); his children, Carrie Sorvari (Paul) of Osceola, IN, Kyle Stuart of Huntington, IN, Stephanie Golden (Rob) of Fort Wayne, IN and Brian Stuart of Huntington, IN; his granddaughters, Delaney Golden, Gabby Golden, Bella Golden, Joey Stuart and Julia Stuart; his siblings, Calvin "Buzz" (Janet), Terry (Trish) and Sheryl (Dwight); and his pets, Scout and Rufus.
