He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Ott and Rose I. Ott (Dailey). He is survived by: his children, Shelby Madsen (Erik) of Holt, MI and Tim Ott (Laura) of Brownsboro, AL; and his grandchildren, Layne Neal (Jenna), Jordan Neal, Audra Neal, Lorelei Madsen, Emalee Ott, Carson Ott, Jake Madsen and Kyle Madsen.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 29th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the McElhaney Funeral Home (715 N Jefferson St, Huntington, IN 46750). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 29th 2025 at 12:15 PM at 11201 S Marion Rd, La Fontaine, IN 46940.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society in care of McElhaney Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson Street, Huntington, IN 46750.
