It is with sadness that the passing of Joy GAY Brown of Hymera, Indiana is shared. Joy, born on August 21, 1950, passed away on May 26, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Denver Crist and Mannon Crist (Taylor); and her sister Barbara Hudson. She is survived by: her husband John W. Brown of Hymera; her daughters, Linda Doty (Chad) of Fort Wayne, Rebecca Martlage (Kevin) of St. Joseph and Trisha Stockdell (Dean) of San Antonio, Texas; her grandchildren, Tyler Doty (Alacia), Megan Vertelney (Ben), Emma Alkonis (Matthew), Sophia Martlage and Kelsey Martlage; her great grandchildren, Mabel Doty, Montgomery Doty and Beauden Alkonis; and her sister Grace Miller of Coalmont, Indiana. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
