Alfred E. Mendel Jr. Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alfred E. Mendel Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on July 11, 2025 at the age of 83. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alfred E. Mendel Jr. to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Alfred shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Alfred farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred E. Mendel and Maxine Mendel. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Mendel; his children, Melissa Hanchar (Sean Alcola) and Alfred S. Mendel (Lisa); and his siblings, Martha Miller and Phillip Mendel (Eriko). He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Conkle Funeral Home, Speedway Chapel (4925 W 16th St, Speedway, IN 46224). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
