She was predeceased by: her parents, Sampy H. Lester and Gertrude Blankenship Lester; her siblings, Ronnie, Donald Lester, Patsy Gunther and Nina Lester; and her siblings-in-law, James Gunther, Beulah, Loretta and Janet Lester.
She is survived by: her husband William E. Scheele; her children, Bill Scheele, Jr. (Joann), Rodney Scheele and Michelle France (Bradley); her grandson Justin France; and her siblings, Joyce Gibson, Sharon Pierce (Shane), Sampy D. Lester, Beatrice Riffe (Larry), Eugene Lester, Jeffery Lester (Mary) and Phillip Lester (Trina).
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (9700 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
