She is survived by: her husband John Swift; her daughter Lesia Akinsonu (ID Akinsonu); her granddaughters, Porcha Arnold and Jasmine McNeil (Jeffrey McNeil); her great grandchild Jaleel McNeil; and her sibling Dossie Gates (Annette Gates). She is also survived by siblings, nieces, and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Oaklawn Memorial Gardens (9700 Allisonville Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46250).
