He was predeceased by: his wife Ann; his brother William Christofolis; his parents, Theodore Christofolis and Katina Papadelis; and his stepfather George Papadelis.

He is survived by: his children, Carol Ann O'Brien (John), Rebecca Christofolis, Ted Christofolis and Mary Schneiderman (Barry); his grandchildren, Bruce Mitchell (Emily), Kathryn Mahoney (Dave), Kelsey Hopkins, Anna Palmer (Nick), Ben Schneiderman and Noah Schneiderman; his sister Irene Kaporis of Chicago; and his pet Luna. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
