She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Westfield Jr. and Cornelia Rhea. She is survived by: her former husband Forrest S. Carter Sr.; her son Forrest S. Carter Jr. (Dale Ann Carter); her granddaughters, Dalana Brand and Kira Carter-Robertson; her great grandchildren, Nyle Imani Brand, Ryan Diethrich Brand and Bryce Samuel Brand; her great great grandchildren, Redka Ra, Sundy Ra and Avery Brand; Ryan Brand and Ryan Robertson.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers or gifts people contribute to Leroy Keyes Omega Psi Phi, Rho Sigma Scholarship fund established by Dr. Forrest S. Carter and Dale Ann Carter.
