We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2025, at the age of 75, Barbara Allyn Grasher Schroeder Howard in Indianapolis, Indiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband William David Schroeder; her parents, Howard Grasher and Ruth Grasher; and her brother Howie Grasher. She is survived by: her children, Jeff (Stephanie Schroeder), Andy (Aly Schroeder) and Jillian (Shawn Pierce); her siblings, Ellen McNees, Martha Bubel, Chris Grasher and Jon Grasher; and her grandchildren, Jackson, Charlie, Paige Schroeder, Maddie, Molly Schroeder, Violet, Sullivan and William Pierce.
In lieu of flowers, the family would invite people to contribute to the ACLU, WFYI or your local public radio or television station.
