It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara J. Sterken (Indianapolis, Indiana), who passed away on September 13, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustus R. Rush and Erma E Rush (Garner); and her husband Edwin Sterken. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Herndon of Indianapolis, Denice Loofboro of Janesville and Barbara; her grandchildren, Shawn Herndon of Indianapolis, Amy Conner of Whitewater and Douglas Loofboro of Janesville, Wisconsin.; her great grandchildren, Kyrale, Todd, Skyler Herndon, Robert and Amaya Conner; and her great great grandchildren, Asciyana Braxton, Avionte Braxton and Asyin Morris.
