He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Johnson and Emma Johnson; and his son John E. Johnson. He is survived by: his nephew Kenneth; his sister Betty Mae DeBerry; his children, Benny Johnson, Kevin Johnson, Benjamin Johnson, Janice Johnson, Carol Johnson and Joyce Johnson; his grandchildren, Jackie, Destin, Joy, Gregg, Phillip, Latisha, Shema and Brylan; and his great grandchildren, Kenton and Jacquall. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends.
