He was predeceased by : his father B. D. Johnson; and his brothers, Johnny and Kevin Johnson. He is survived by : his mother Linda Johnson; his wife Madeline Johnson; his sons, Braylen Johnson and James Barnes; his siblings, April Reed of Mississippi, Janice Johnson of Indianapolis, Joyce Michalski (Greg) of Florida, Carol Johnson of Illinois, Karen Johnson of Illinois, Bennie D. Johnson, Ricky Johnson and Ronnie Johnson; and his cousin Denise Lyles. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
