He was predeceased by: his parents, Perry Thomas and Esther Lorene Brown (Gulley); his sons, William "Willie" Brown and Nicholas "Nick" Brown; and his brothers, Meredith Brown, Jerry Brown and Joe Brown.
He is survived by: his daughter Leslie Brown; his grandchildren, Katelyn and Michael; his great grandchild Estella; and his sisters, Opal Curry, Lucille Pearson, Karen Duff and Marita Woods. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
