It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lorraine Davis (Indianapolis, Indiana), who passed away on October 14, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Blanche F. Lewis and Edward L. Lewis Sr.; her former husband Cohen McNeil; her husband Jesse D. Davis Sr.; her siblings, Edward L. Lewis Jr. and Brenda J. Lewis-Porter; her stepfather Herbert Frazier Sr.; and her brother Herbert Frazier Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda L. McNeil-Chapman (Edwin); her grandchildren, Netra Faeborn (Elphaba), Julian Chapman and Rosetta Hayes; her stepbrother Jesse D. Davis Jr. (Lisa); her granddaughters, Kayla and Jada Lewis; and her sisters, Sylva Frazier-Roach (Fredrick) and Anita C. Frazier-Marion.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bridge Church (170 Washington Pointe Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46229). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
