He was predeceased by: his father Billie Gene Daugherty; his sister Gladys Jean Earley; and his brother-in-law Kenny Gordon. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Ronnie Earley; his wife Dawn Leigh Daugherty (Burgess); his daughter Ashley Moguel (Alex); his grandsons, Christian and Caden; his brother Troy; his sister-in-law Beth; and his sister Janet.
In lieu of flowers, his family kindly requests donations to be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital in honor of his generous nature.
