He was predeceased by: his mother Muriel Pickell Rogers; and his stepmother Ruth Pickell. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Pickell; his daughters, Missi Pickell and Mindi Pickell Strong (Randall); his grandchildren, Aubrey Strong Perkins (Zach), Lincoln Strong and Sawyer Strong; and his sister Sandra Blankenship. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
