He is survived by: his children, Calvin DeWayne Jr. and Rita Latonya Yates; his siblings, Michael Young (Pamela), Mark Yates (Jackie), Danny Yates (Lola), Sharon Vinson (Karl) and Donna Yates (Sheldon); and his grandchildren, DeMonte, Calvin III, Lucas Stewart, DaKobe Drain, Jordan, Makaila Yates and Journie Drain. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
