With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carvele Payne (Indianapolis, Indiana), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 30, 2025 at the age of 60. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Anderson Payne and Carolyn Pryor Smith; his stepfather James Smith; and his uncles, Timothy Pryor and Jeffrey Pryor.
He is survived by: his wife Jacqueline Payne; his children, Kayelynn J. Payne, India Henderson and Jordan L. Payne; his brothers, Mark A. Roper (Robin), Steven Pryor (Kathy) and Neal Pryor (Jessica); and his aunts and uncles, Norma, Richard, Charles, Roland, James, Linda, Paul, Michael and Sharon. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Stuart Mortuary Chapel (2201 N Illinois St, Indianapolis, IN 46208). A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
He worked for Precision Foundation LLC and several other companies.
