He was predeceased by: his wife Gelliah Hargis; his parents, Everett Parris and Virginia Parris; his grandchildren, Krista Dardy (Allmond) and Josh Powell; and his great grandchild Savannah Vawter.
He is survived by: his children, Virginia Allmond, Charles Parris Jr., Mary Beatty (Ken), Donna Vawter (John), Terry Jackson (Kelly), John Parris (Lisa) and Louise Parris (Billy Marratta). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, a multitude of great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Washington Park East (10722 E Washington St, Indianapolis, IN 46229). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Shriners Hospitals for Children, in his memory.
