He is survived by: his significant other Su Ae Chung; his children, Michael Ray, Donald Ray, Sue Michelle Bates and Su Michelle Bates; his granddaughter Andraya Bates; his siblings-in-law, Young S. Chung, John Chung, Soon Ae Chung, Helen Chung and Soon Ni; his great-aunt Dixie Sparkman; and his aunts, Hattie Ross Taylor and Myrtis Lewis Ross. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
