Clay leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Clay’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Gus Erickson and Ramona Jensen Erickson; his brother Johnny Erickson; and his mother-in-law Vivian Harvey. He is survived by: his sons, Trevor Paul Erickson (Desiree) and Travis Clay Erickson (Dallas); his sisters-in-law, Ronda Myer (Steve), Rebecca Paulson (Adam), Leslie Smith (Bob) and Lynne Erickson; and his brothers, Frank, Danny and Joseph. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 7th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Plum and Pine (6388 S Redwood Rd, Taylorsville, UT 84123).
