She was predeceased by: her parents, Rondell French and Mary French (Ryan); her husband Walter Diaz; her son Tony Diaz; her stepson Ricardo Diaz; and her sister Rondell French Jr..

She is survived by: her daughter Angela Everton (Todd); her grandchildren, Morgan Everton (Michaela), Wyatt Everton (Kaylin) and Melaina Everton; her great grandchildren, Axel, Jackson, Elise and Clay; and her sisters, Mona Fortner (Bill), Sherrie Bell (Ron), Lavonne Jones (Steve) and Rachele Suddarth (Mike).
