He is survived by: his wife Teri Mitchell; his children, Danielle Spears (Jasion), Dana McDonald and Dan Mitchell II; his grandchildren, Niko McDonald and Treshaun Banks; and his siblings, Doug Mitchell (Joyce), Carietha Markey (Spencer) and Angela Owens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Dan's wife Teri Mitchell.
