We bid farewell to Daniel John Dufour of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Chicago, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 15, 2026 at the age of 88. Daniel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence J. Dufour and Nell R. Dufour; and his sister Lenore Mahoney (Thomas). He is survived by: his siblings, Sussanne Sullivan (Stephen), Richard, Donna Culotta (Joseph), Bernadette Lathrop (James), Christopher (Angela), Victoria Jenkins (Samuel), Maria and Dianne Metzler (Larry). He is also survived by sixteen nieces and nephews, thirty-four great nieces and nephews, and two great-great nieces.
One of Dan's final wishes was that no flowers be sent. He preferred that donations be made to St. Jude's Children Hospital.
