It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Daniel James Elsener of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Lincoln, Nebraska, who passed away on February 22, 2024, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Daniel J. Elsener and Elizabeth Elsener (Waite); his wife Rebecca Koehler; his children, Isabel Elsener (Brian Paul), Ava Elsener and Daniel Charles "Charlie" Elsener; and his siblings, Andrew Elsener (Chrissy), Anne Elsener (Ben Hilby), Elizabeth Mayer (Danny), Maria Elsener-Mayer (Tim), Charles Elsener (Kelly), Joseph Elsener, Sheila Hasty (John) and Luke Elsener (Morgan). He is also survived by nieces and nephews; many loving cousins, aunts, uncles, and in-laws.
