The memory of Daniel Joseph Smith of Indianapolis, Indiana, who passed away on June 24, 2025 at the age of 68, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Smith and Dolores Smith; and his mother-in-law Evelyn Miller. He is survived by: his wife Anita Smith; his children, Jenna Smith and Eric Smith (Mary Claire); his siblings, Dorene Perry (Craig), Jimmy Smith, Cheryl Spencer (RayBob) and Pat Smith (Michele); his father-in-law Daniel Miller; his siblings-in-law, Donna Cook and Keith Graber Miller (Ann); and his pets, Sadie and Millie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Feeney-Hornak Shadeland Mortuary (1307 Shadeland Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46219). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 2nd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. Pius X Catholic Church (7200 Sarto Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46240).
