He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert E. Spitzberg and Dorothy Spitzberg (Leopold); his sister Eleanor; and his former wives, Marilyn (Bassler) and Alana (Randolph).
He is survived by: his wife Susanne McAlister; his daughters, Laura Carafiol (Dennis) of Carmel and Julie Graziano (Paul) of Evergreen, Colorado; and his grandchildren, Camille, Mimi, Alexis, Nicholas and Mia. He is also survived by his family, friends.
