He was predeceased by: his parents, Shirley Johnson and Frank "Buddy" Johnson; and his cousins, Virginia Brown (Smith), Portia Christy (Smith), William "Moose" Smith and Richard Smith.
He is survived by: his son Ryan (Renea); his grandson Evan Johnson; and his cousins, Paulette Robison (Frye), Frank Ballard (Nina), Robbie Smith (Lola) and Cherie Lenihan (Smith).
