He is survived by: his children, David Black II (Angie) of Moberly, Gregory Black (Dawn) of Cumberland, Ohio, Geri Briggs (Paul) of Lafayette and Lori Roberts (Mike) of Indianapolis; his brother Richard Wayne Black of Madison; his grandchildren, Jameson Briggs (Corina) of Lafayette, Evan Briggs (Becky) of Lafayette, Erika Briggs of Lafayette, Zachary Briggs (Elizabeth) of Cincinnati, Carlie McCluskey (Christian) of Kansas City, Addison Westhues (Mitch) of Moberly, Jared Dettra of Cumberland, Lukas Black of Cumberland, Andrew Dettra of Cumberland and Sharayah Lopresti (Marco) of New Philadelphia, Ohio; and his great grandchildren, Alexis, Braxton, Aria, Anniston of Emersyn, E. J., Everett of Lafayette, Emmrich Briggs of Lafayette, Annabelle Dettra of Cumberland, Johnny of New Philadelphia, Dixon of New Philadelphia, Vivian Lopresti of New Philadelphia and Julia Briggs of Cincinnati, Ohio..
