He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Quayle Clapp and Margaret Elizabeth Clapp (Walker); and his son Matthew Alexander Clapp. He is survived by: his wife Roberta "Bobbie" Bandy Clapp; his daughter Sarah Elizabeth Clapp (Christopher Cason); his daughter-in-law Bethany Clapp; his granddaughter Olivia Lynn Clapp; his brother Thomas Walker Clapp (Laura Zolad Clapp); and his children, Drew and Jonathan.
