David L. Sweeney Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David L. Sweeney of Indianapolis, Indiana, born in Detroit, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 5, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though David has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur J. Sweeney and Thelma M. Sweeney; and his brother Jesse T. Sweeney. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Kattau Sweeney; his sister-in-law JoAnn Bailey (Joe); and his half-siblings, Peggy Pittman and David O'Neill. He is also survived by five nephews; twelve nieces.
